Chapter 40- Another

Dara woke up in her room with her body still aching. She could feel her wrist swollen and she twitched in pain when she unconsciously leaned on it, using her elbow instead to support her body to sit up on her bed.

Eyes still half open, she rubbed it by the back of her hands. The bad things that happened yesterday were almost forgotten as she remembers the words that Jaejoong told her. Her heart fluttered remembering his sweet words, his assurance, his promise…. his love for her. “I’m lucky to have him as mine”

For a moment, her thoughts lingered to every memory that they shared together…. All the while…. It was Kim Jaejoong who ha given so much.

Jaejoong was standing staring out the window. He’s been there for awhile. He waited for her to wake up. he was looking down on the trees outside the street whose leaves were swaying, flowing in harmony with the chilly wind that is blowing that morning.

Today, he was determined, to make sure that all the pain from her past will be forgotten. Today is the day they will start afresh. A smirk slowly crept up on his lips, his eyes glistened, thinking of ways how. He just knew what he needed to do…

“Jae…” she called on him

He turned to face her and grew concerned to see a deep frown on her…
“You’re awake?” He sat down beside her and kissed her lips… “good morning baby… feeling better? Any pains?” He happily greeted her nut carefully checking her out.

She pouted childishly “My body aches, My wrists are swollen” She whined at him snuggling her head into his neck. He took her hands and looks at her wrists. Slowly rubbing it
“Does it hurt?”

Dara nodded… her puppy eyes welled up… as tears stated to fill it again

Jaejoong smiled
“shhh… I’ll give you a pain reliever after breakfast ok? So you won’t feel the pain” he kissed her swollen wrist

“Thank you” she said

“Jae what are you talking?” Yunho questioned. Hiss right arm on a sling, broken from the fight with the bloods from the other day.

He rolled his eyes at his gawking friend as if it was only the first time for him to hear such plan.
“Look, can’t you just help man? And stop asking ok? be there. And tell all the guys as well. I don’t care if they have broken arms or legs. I want them to be there. I know.. this is my fight! But I need you guys to be there. This will be fun, trust me”

Yunho’s eyebrow curved up. “Fun? Maybe for you”

He smiled… waving his hand to his friend “Aisshh! crazy bastard! your friends are injured you know! Dumbass” Yunho murmured under his nose.

“I heard that! i don’t care just do it!” Jae walked out the door and slams it hard.

Dara froze when he heard his brother yelling on his phone. it was dinner time yet she was still on her pj’s. Jaejoong specifically told her to sleep all day and so she did.

“What?” Okay we’re coming. Stay where you are. Aish! that stupid Jaejoong!” Teddy slamming his fist on the table, stealing a glance at his worried sister

“Oppa! What happened?” She looked at his brother wearily not really liking the trouble tone teddy was in.

“JJ is in trouble. Come on let’s go!” Teddy grabbed his swollen wrist that made her shriek in pain. He dragged her out of the house towards his car.

Teddy drove his car into high speed which made Dara hold on to her side nervously.

“What happened to him? where is he?” she nervously ask his brother as fear enveloped her. But Teddy kept his silence. She was already thinking of the most horrible condition Jae was into. Dara inhaled sharply preparing her self mentally for the worst. “He’s okay, nothing is wrong” She told herself to relax but horrible thoughts kept filling her mind.

She shook her head, shooing all those horrible thoughts off her mind

“Ohh… god….What happened yesterday still wasn’t enough? We have been through a lot of hardships. Please don’t make another obstacle for us. Can’t I just love him without all the hassles.. Just like every ordinary couple? Please don’t let him be dead…. Please… please” She continuously prayed

On the way to where ever Teddy was taking her…. She nervously played with her fingers, biting her nails once in a while. Dara was also on the verge of breaking down but she kept her composure. No matter what… this is the right time to tell Jae that he can actually rely on her. She kept praying and praying… hoping that Jae was alright.

Dara’s curiosity grew when Teddy parked his car in their university’s parking lot. She frowned seeing even Jaejoong’s car there. As well as Yunho and Max’s blue lexus which he won on the bet wiyh Jaejoong. A few more cars were also parked there, which she finds rather weird. At eight o’ clock pm, the university parking lot had always been empty. as far as she knows…

“Oppa… why are we here?” he asked curiously while tagging on her older bothers shirt. But Teddy has been ignoring her ever since they went out of their house. Without getting any response from him Dara stopped walking. She wanted to know what’s going on…. her nerve is making her feel sick… and she felt like she was about to go crazy.

But he was grabbed again by Teddy and dragged her all the way to their university food lounge.
“Let’s just go ok. We need to hurry or else we’ll be too late” He said in a rather shaky voice.

That comment made her feel more nervous. was Jae really in trouble?

The whole university was dark with only a few light posts illuminating the place. The surrounding was chilly and deserted. It was silent. one can almost hear the wind blowing and it crept the hell out of Dara. She held into her brother’s arm silently praying that Jaejoong was all right.

She saw the food bar and lounge. Its glass walls were covered with curtains,most unlikely. The glass wall of the lounge is to keep their school admin well aware of what’s going on inside that place. In that way… they didn’t want their students to make it a place to just hang out and make out.

Dara and Teddy both stood outside the door. She was nervous like hell and her legs almost wobbly. She can’t kept herself from shaking.

“Ready?” Teddy looked at her, scanning her face and finally thankful that his sister will soon meet his happiness.

“Now what?” She stared back in total confusion. Her brother was having a weird expression and Dara couldn’t help but be doubthful of him. “what the heck is going on?” She nervously asked her self.

When Teddy opened the two glass doors. Dara’s jaw dropped. She fell on her knees…. And begins to cry violently.
“Oh no no no no” She murmured under her breath. Shaking her head in disbelief
